Immersive Brand Experiences with Virtual Avatars & Immersive Merch

Together with Vodafone we created two engaging AR Experiences for the visitors of the OMR 23 for produce active brand engagement and create Shareable Moments. Visitors could create their own virtual OMR metaverse avatar and discover the immersive merchandise collection promoted by onsite smiley promoters around the booth.

Shareable Moments via Immersive Experiences

Both experiences were designed to create an engaging shareable moment that people could take with them from the OMR. The experiences were accessible via QR-Codes around the booth and could therefore be launched via a simple link.

Celebrate with you own Vodafone Virtual OMR Avatar

Via the avatar solution of Ready Player Me people could create there own metaverse avatar just by uploading a foto. The avatar was autogenerated in seconds and could be further customized by the users and placed in the environment via AR. The users could discover several dance moves to celebrate the OMR together with their own digital twin.

Discover the Immersive Merch

Under the motto “Together We Can Smile,” we partnered with Vodafone to launch a custom virtual merch collection that invited people to discover the immersive smile of a virtual Smiley by scanning one of many interactive touchpoints. Vodafone Smile Promoters moved throughout the entire event venue, spreading smiles and engaging the crowd. Through stickers and other accessories, the immersive smile was extended beyond the booth — allowing visitors to take a piece of the experience home with them.

Active Brand Engagement at the Booth

The experiences attracted over 4,000 participants, each spending an average of more than 3 minutes actively engaging with the content. With a sharing rate of 35%, both experiences became a standout success at the event.
